Photo Hunt: Triangles

As a math teacher, one would think this would be an easy challenge, however I could only find two pictures of mine that had triangles in them.

1st here is a picture of part of Scotty's castle in Death Valley. Although more of a ranch than a castle the attention to details were fantastic. The tiles on the clock are really beautiful in person(and some are triangles).

2nd The very well kept and geometrical garden in Gruyere Switzerland. We went to Gruyere late in our trip and it is there that I overdosed on cheese fondue. (never thought that could happen, but we had cheese for breakfast lunch and dinner.)

Earth Hour Night

Well a little late in posting this- but just thought I would let you know how Earth Hour went for us. I was planning just to go to bed early, but Michael said that would be cheating. We actually turned the power off to the house. We lit candles, and Michael brought out his trusty head lamp.

We decided to work on our calendars, and then play a game. But the figuring out how we will spend the rest of the year took up the whole hour in no time.

An easy Tag

Michelle tagged me for a kind of Photo Hunt. To post the 7th picture in my 7th file folder of my photo's. In case anyone is interested I have 20 file photos altogether which are in alphabetical order. So the seventh one is called Kim, which is kind of appropriate since Kim, her hubby Danny, and 2 year old daughter Emma came over last night for game night. (Unfortunately Michael and I lost all rounds, but we had a great time.)



The seventh picture is one of Danny, when we took them skydiving for their first and only time.

Photo Hunt: Stripes

So for stripes, I am showing off my tiger striped kitty cat. He does think he is tough as a tiger, but in actuality he is just a power puff cat-but with attitude.

My April Picture

Blogger wasn't cooperating- so I had to do my April picture to the side. It wasn't the one I had in mind, but I think my mom has the picture I was planning to use .

April when growing up meant spring flowers, my dad was/is a big gardener so we always had a spring plant for April. And of course my mom would make us our Easter dresses for Easter Sunday Mass, complete with assesories (patton leather shiny black shoes and purse to match)

So enjoy the signs of spring this April. :)
