On the other end of the mall we visited Lincoln Memorial which has 50 steps leading up to the memorial.

Then we viewed the Vietnam Memorial Wall and then on the way up to the White House we stopped at the "Old Post Office" that had a 300+ foot tower that we took the following picture of the capitol building from.



Then it was off to the FDR Memorial (picture of Suzie & Jeff)
One of our last stops before leaving town we stopped by the National Cathedral. It was very pretty inside and had great acoustics for the choir that was singing inside. The Cathedral is celebrating its 100 anniversary this year.

Also we stayed in a very nice hotel, but due to Hotwire.com we got it for very cheap-so if you are travelling and need a hotel check there first.
